Our Story
Founded in 2019 by sisters Sanyana “Tsunami” Joseph and Shantel Joseph, Sienna was created with a clear purpose — to empower Micronesian women to wear their heritage with pride.
Growing up as Micronesians in the diaspora, the sisters often found themselves navigating between their cultural roots and the modern world. They recognized a void in fashion — jewelry that reflected their identities in a way that felt authentic, subtle, and meaningful.
Sienna was born from that realization.
The name “Sienna” is inspired by the Kosraean word Siacna, meaning unique, different, or one of a kind. The brand embodies individuality while honoring the warmth and earthiness of Micronesian cultural roots.
Specializing in jewelry and lifestyle pieces inspired by Micronesian culture — including rings, necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and more — Sienna blends traditional values with contemporary design. Each piece is created with intention, allowing women to represent where they come from without having to explain it.
More than accessories, Sienna represents cultural pride, unity among island women, and a shared journey of self-expression across the Pacific and throughout the diaspora.
Through every collection, the sister duo continues to celebrate Micronesian womanhood — honoring ancestors, uplifting community, and creating space for women to feel seen and celebrated.
