Sienna founders Sanyana and Shantel
How it started

It began with a necklace that didn't feel like us

In 2019, our founder Sanyana went searching for a gold necklace that said "woman," but never found one in her own language. She is Mutacn. She is Serepein. Yet, there was nothing out there that connected. That was the moment it became clear: modern jewelry that reflected her identity was almost impossible to find.

That realization became a phone call to her sister and co-founder, Shantel, and soon after, Sienna was born. A sister-owned brand built to put Micronesian words where the world can see them. This is for the islanders in communities that are often missed in representation.

What began as one idea grew into collections honoring various Micronesian languages, pendants inspired by our legends, ocean-proof accessories made for island life, and meaningful jewelry that can connect to us all.

We welcome you to the home of Micronesian inspired jewelry and accessories. As you scroll and shop, may you find pieces that make you feel seen. Pieces that inspire you with confidence, culture and a touch of home.

Sienna
from Siacna — Kosraean

Different. Unique. One of a kind. It's a word we grew up hearing from our mother, and it carries everything we believe about being Micronesian — that our traditions, our languages, our families and our islands are not something to blend in with the crowd. They're something to stand out for.

Community wearing Sienna
More than jewelry

A space to connect with where you come from

Somewhere along the way, Sienna became bigger than gold and chains. It became a safe space — for Micronesian women and youth to reconnect with their culture, their languages, and each other.

Putting our words on a necklace meant we had to learn them, live them, and teach them. Every piece sent out into the world is a small act of pride, worn by someone who refuses to keep quiet about who they are.

From Hawaiʻi to the mainland to islands we've never set foot on, our pieces travel where our people are. That's the whole point.

Every piece tells a story

Our legends, worn close

Sirena

Guam's beloved legend of a young woman who became a mermaid — a reminder that every Pacific Islander is forever connected to the ocean.

Infinite

Shaped like octopus tentacles, after Lidakika, who guided the first settlers to Pohnpei. A symbol of the forever connection we keep with our home islands.

Divinity

Inspired by the Palauan love story Surech ma Tulei, honoring Micronesian women — strong and soft at the same time.

Wherever you are, you can wear your island.
